Mazuri® Crocodilian Diet-Small is a complete crocodile food designed for small crocodilians under managed care. This floating pellet crocodile food is designed to be tossed into the water to encourage animals to come to the surface for feeding. These small crocodile pellets may also be tossed directly into the animal‚ mouth for training.
Best Fed To: Mazuri® Crocodilian food is best for crocodilians, carnivorous turtles and carnivorous lizards such as Alligators, Caiman, Crocodiles, Gharials, Snapping Turtles and Monitor Lizards.

Feeding Guidelines
- Feed intake will vary based on animal body size and life stage, level of activity, and environmental temperature.
- Toss diet onto the water, where the splashing may induce the feeding response.
- Feed to young, rapidly growing crocodilians to satiation.
- Adult crocodilians can be fed to body condition.
- Always provide plenty of fresh, clean water.
- Thoroughly wash feed and water bowls on a regular basis. It is always good practice to wash hands thoroughly after feeding and/or handling animals.
- This diet is not for human consumption.
Important: Always provide reptiles with adequate natural light or a light source that supplies sufficient UV radiation between the wavelengths of 280 and 315 nm.
Storage Instructions
For best results, reseal the bag between uses or store contents of open paper sack in container with sealing lid. Store in a cool (75⁰F/24⁰C or colder), dry (approximately 50% RH) location free from rodents and insects. Do not offer moldy or insect-infested feed to animals as it may result in illness, performance loss or death. Freezing will not harm the diet and may extend freshness. Use within 1 year of bag manufacturing or "Best if Used By" date.
